April 7 - The answers to last year's final exam have been posted

Mar 4 - Reminder - First project report is due today.

Feb 14 - SNOW CLOSURE - this is a copy of an e-mail message sent to all students on my mailing list - if you did not get a copy, please send me an e-mail so I can check/edit this list.

The university is CLOSED today due to SNOW conditions. All lectures and labs are cancelled. If the university is open tomorrow and Wednesday, I suggest we try to catch up with Monday group students attending on either Tuesday or Wednesday - as your schedule allows. We will discuss in the next lecture/tutorial time and try to complete the arrangements in the best way possible.

Feb 7 - After discussion in our Feb 4 class:
--- two project report deadlines are Feb 18 and Mar 28
--- project report marks are 30 and 60
--- labs schedule is unchanged

Jan 26 - TT1 has been marked and returned in today's tutorial. A copy of this test, with my solutions, is posted on the web. Class average is 75%, mark range is 99% to 35%, there are 2 failing grades and 4 DNWs (Did Not Write). Most of you did quite or very well - congratulations. If you are having difficulties in being sucessful in this course, please discuss with me - I will try to help you.

Jan 12 - I have updated the page listing all students by lab group.

Jan 6 - Both courseware packages are now available from the bookstore.

Jan 6 - Read/study the relevent section of the "instructor's notes" before the lecture - be ready to ask questions if you do not understand - discuss in class !

Jan 4 - This web site is now fully active for this term, each of you (registered students) should have access to the "password protected" portion where my course notes are stored. Please click on the "List" of registered students to see if the information about you is correct. Contact me ASAP with any problems. I suggest you read the course Introduction page, which is linked from the course home page.
